Communities Sub-group

Membership of this group is formed from 20 different BAME community organisations across Sheffield. Its core aims are to:

• Identify the current concerns in relation to the impact of Covid-19 on BAME communities, the immediate needs and required response in Sheffield
• Identify what local public sector and voluntary services could do better to ensure they engage and communicate effectively with BAME communities as part of this process
• Help reduce the barriers to accessing services and support now and in the future.
